Enhancing scientific cooperation: twinning between the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain and the Northern Technical UniversityA delegation from the Medical Technical College at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain headed by Prof. Dr. Abdul Sultan Hassan, and membership of Dr. Walid Majeed Amara and Dr. Abbas Latif and Aziz, visited the Medical Technical College at the Northern Technical University in Kirkuk Governorate.

The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yazi, the dean of the college, along with the lady, the scientific assistant and head of the industrial kidney department. During the meeting, the delegation was briefed on the college’s laboratories and discussed ways to enhance joint scientific cooperation between the two academic institutions.

The meeting resulted in the signing of a twinning agreement between the Industrial Kidney Department at the Medical Technical College at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain and its counterpart at the Northern Technical University, aiming to develop study programs, exchange experiences and establish joint research projects that contribute to upgrading the academic and applied level of students and researchers.

Today, Wednesday, 5/2/2025 for the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies/Department of Anesthesia Technologies ..

A scientific symposium on the female and psychological feminist health and the role of society, individuals and health institutions in the solidarity work to advance the healthy reality of women .. In addition, the symposium aimed to // 

* Comprehensive awareness and providing women with accurate and comprehensive information about various aspects of their health, including reproductive health, sexual health, mental health, nutrition, exercise, and common diseases that affect women.

 * Encouraging periodic examination and early detection of diseases, which increases the chances of recovery and the prevention of complications.

And highlighting the health issues faced by women, such as violence against women, discrimination in obtaining health care, and a lack of awareness of the importance of female health.

 * Call to improve health services

The symposium was attended by Mr. Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies and the Head of the Department of Anesthesia Technologies.
