A new, distinguished scientific achievement added to the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain.... Diyala ..With direct support and guidance by respective President of the University, Professor Dr. Rasha Khalil Abed , and the efforts of the specialized scientific team, the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain  has achieved a new achievement by entering into the Spanish "Simako" classification for the year 2025, which measures the performance of universities in accordance with the standards of innovation, scientific research and social influence.

The university ranked 55 out of 74 Iraqi universities and colleges in the field of innovation, which reflects its progress in developing patents and applied research projects.

The above evaluation depends on several areas, including

 Scientific research, which confirms the university’s clear role in producing academic research and publishing it in discreet scientific journals.

In the field of social influence, a indicator that reflects its clear contribution to the service of society at the local and international levels.

In addition, the President of the University praised the efforts made by the specialized scientific team and the teaching staff that contributed to raising the research balance of the university and expressed her pride in this important achievement, considering it as evidence of the progress made by the university in various academic and research fields.

The Spanish "Simako" classification is one of the prestigious international rankings that measure universities' performance in the areas of innovation, scientific research and social influence, and depends on a complex index that combines three different criteria: research performance (50%), innovation outputs (30%), and societal impact (20%).
