A symposium at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain discusses the impact of digital media on the behavior of youth ...

The Department of Information at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Rafidain organized a symposium entitled "The Impact of Digital Media on the Behavior of Young", presented by Dr. Hassan Kazem Al -Suwaidi, Director of the Institute of Media Training in the Iraqi Media Network. The session was moderated by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Sadiq.  

The symposium dealt with several important axes, including the dangers of social media, and how to confront the cultural invasion through media education. It also discussed the role of the family in following up the children, and the role of the state in reducing the descending content in which these sites are spreading.  

The symposium aimed to raise awareness about the negative effects of digital media, and to provide solutions to enhance the positive use of these platforms, in order to enhance the cultural and social values ​​of young people.
