Establishment

The Department of Accounting at the University of Bilad Alrafdain was established in 2010 and aims to graduate accounting and auditing cadres who are responsible for preparing, organizing and auditing the financial operations of the integrated and non-integrated accounting units of the local and international accounting cycle.

Towards educational programs and research activities in excellence and advancement to keep pace with all that is new in accounting sciences.

Message

To enhance the mission of the departments of humanities at the University of Mesopotamia, in both education and scientific research and serving the Iraqi community by preparing and qualifying graduates with a high degree of efficiency and effectiveness to work in accounting fields in line with the requirements of the labor market and striving to develop faculty members in the department and achieve a cooperative and complementary relationship with all relevant local and international organizations, bodies and institutions.

Objectives

Design and develop curricula and vocabulary for undergraduate and graduate studies in a way that ensures the preparation of teaching staff and meets the requirements of the labor market on the one hand and in line with international developments in the field of accounting on the other hand.

Preparing graduates academically and professionally and providing them with general and specialized knowledge in the field of accounting.

Maintaining academic and field communication with accounting departments in other universities at the local and international levels and enhancing areas of cooperation and coordination with professional organizations responsible for regulating the accounting profession locally and internationally.
